About Chris
I am a Board-Certified Music Therapist and Exceptional Education Teacher with over 10 years of experience supporting children and adults with disabilities. My background in the classroom has given me a strong understanding of different learning styles and the unique ways each individual can thrive.
In my music therapy sessions, I use creative and personalized approaches—such as improvisation, songwriting, individualized songs, and adaptive music lessons—to make learning and growth both meaningful and enjoyable. Music therapy can also be a valuable way to support personal goals as well as IEP goals, helping to strengthen communication, social-emotional development, executive functioning, and self-regulation, while encouraging confidence and independence.
I believe every person has unique strengths and abilities. My goal is to create a supportive, encouraging space where music helps unlock those strengths, build connections, and bring joy to the learning process. I would love the opportunity to connect with you and learn more about how music therapy can support your child or family member’s goals.
